Brian Does SNL

So you know that little show that airs right before us? Nightly News with Brian Williams. Maybe you’ve seen the billboards along I-95 of Jackie Nespral with Brian… well Brian is going to take a break from the serious news of the day, and step into a different kind of role. Don’t worry… he’s staying with NBC… but Saturday night, you’ll be able to watch Brian on SNL. He’s been practicing for his debut all week… and we’ll have a preview, coming up tonight at 7p.

It’s Friday… and I feel like every Friday I make sure to point out the day in this blog… but it’s been a long week. We began with Noel and ended with the beginning of sweeps. That’s enough to stress anyone out.

Snakes In The Hood

In case you didn’t get the memo, Ari Odzer is back.

Ari took one for the team (his basketball team) back in May, and injured himself… and was out for several months. He’s only been back for a few weeks… and already he’s adding the humor only HE can add to the newsroom. We sent Ari on a story this morning with his photographer, and he called our assignment desk to tell us he had a better ’story.’

Heard of snakes on a plane? How about snake in your hood? It’s a fun story that’s sure to have some Ari flair in it.
