Politics On The Mind

January 28, 2008

Barack Obama picked up a key endorsement from the Democratic Party’s most well known political family. We rarely hear from Caroline Kennedy, but she wrote an Op-Ed piece in the NY Times endorsing Obama… titled “A President Like My Father.” As I write this, Senator Ted Kennedy is giving an empassioned endorsement speech on the campus of American University in Washington, D.C.

Hillary Clinton was in South Beach last night, and picked up the backing of Miami Mayor Manny Diaz.

Meanwhile– the Republicans are hoping a last minute push will get them votes for tomorrow’s Primary Election in Florida.

Tonight we have a special edition of South Florida Nightly News. We are focusing on politics, ahead of tomorrow’s big day.
